Norcraft Companies, L.P. has remained a leader in manufacturing, assembling and finishing kitchen and bathroom cabinetry in the United States since the late 1960s. The company provides an all-encompassing line of premium quality cabinetry, offering customers a unified source for an extensive range of products, including stock and high-end, semi-custom cabinetry in both framed and frameless construction. Norcraft’s brands include Mid Continent Cabinetry®, UltraCraft®, StarMark® and Fieldstone®, each of which is marketed nationally, distributing cabinets through an elaborate network of kitchen and bath dealers and distributors plus direct builder sales.
It was in 1966 that Bernd “Benny” Brennecke launched a company known as Marshall Millworks in southwest Minnesota. It had the distinction of being the first plant to make Mid Continent Cabinetry. Via wise acquisitions of quality cabinetry brands and strategic growth, Marshall Millworks would eventually evolve into Norcraft Companies. During this evolution, Benny’s original philosophy of doing business remained intact: “Offer good quality cabinetry at an affordable price, and you will get repeat business.”
Each Norcraft Companies cabinetry focuses on delivering fresh, modern looks, which is backed up by more than 150 years of collective experience. This experience includes but is not limited to a fifty year celebration of the Mid Continent Cabinetry brand in 2016, thirty years of UltraCraft Cabinetry during the same year.
All Norcraft Companies cabinetry brands either adhere to or exceed all Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) performance standards.
After Norcraft’s successful IPO, Trimaran exited its investment in the company after it was sold to Fortune Brands.
